I recently visited Pickle and Peach on Ocean Road, and it’s safe to say I’ll be going back.

There’s been a lot of hype on social media about this place lately, and after visiting, it’s clear to see why. From the moment you walk in, there’s a real buzz about it.

I ordered the smashed avocado with poached eggs on toast, and it was spot on. The food was lovely, really filling, and beautifully presented—one of those dishes that looks just as good as it tastes. You can tell there’s real attention to detail, not just in how it looks but in the quality of the ingredients too.

I also picked up a fresh bottle of orange juice, and it was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavour. It really stood out and complemented the meal perfectly.

The menu had a great variety, with something for everyone whether you’re after a classic brunch or something a little different. The drinks selection also looked brilliant, especially for anyone who enjoys more quirky or unique options—there’s definitely a lot to choose from if you like trying something new.

The café itself is on the smaller side, but it feels cosy rather than cramped. It has that welcoming, slightly busy atmosphere that you want in a good brunch spot—the kind of place where you can sit, relax, and enjoy your food while taking in the buzz around you. Every plate coming out of the kitchen looked fresh, colourful, and just as tempting as the last.

It was busy when I visited, which always says a lot. There were plenty of happy customers, and you could see people really enjoying both the food and the overall experience. It’s the kind of place that feels like it’s already become a favourite for a lot of locals.

Ocean Road has always been known for its food scene, and this feels like a brilliant addition to the mix—bringing something fresh and modern while still fitting right in.

Overall, I think this is an amazing addition to Ocean Road and a great spot for delicious food. It lives up to the hype, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone.
